Lynne Kurdziel Formato, assistant professor of performing arts, presented a session on "Teaching Musical Theatre in Moscow" at the Music Theatre Educators Alliance International Conference held Jan. 8-11, 2009, at Shenandoah University in Virginia.

The case of a missing Elon alumnus whose 2007 disappearance drew national media attention will be featured again this week in a segment of America’s Most Wanted.

An ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ adjunct instructor was honored this fall for her research on the way companies describe themselves, and how those descriptions give consumers a better understanding of what the business is really saying about its products and services. Linda Gretton, in the School of Communications, won the Association for Business Communication’s Outstanding Dissertation Award at its annual conference.

Some helped the homeless in Washington. Others repaired drywall and cleaned debris from hurricanes in Louisiana and Texas. All learned more about service. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ shared their experiences in recent courses in a forum held Jan. 27 as part of the Winter Term 2009 theme “Emerging Futures: Foresight for Global Good.”
