The C-SPAN Civic Bus returns to ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ on Feb. 13, 2009, with a new exterior design and features that include the latest television production equipment. The bus, which stopped by campus last year, will be parked at the Moseley Center from 9 a.m. – noon.
The 45-foot mobile production studio and demonstration center is in the region as part of its “100 Days, 100 Schools” tour. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, faculty and staff are invited to tour the bus at no cost to learn about the network’s resources and educational outreach projects.
C-SPAN celebrates 30 years as “America’s political network of record” this year. It was created in 1979 by America’s cable companies as a public service to viewers and is currently available to more than 92 million cable and satellite households.
