Shaw University in Raleigh has requested ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ's assistance for helping to clean up from the damage caused by the tornadoes earlier this month. The Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement has a tornado relief service trip planned for Saturday, April 30.

The Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement organized a group of fourteen volunteers on April 23 to assist with tornado relief in regions of North Carolina affected by recent storms.

The Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ is coordinating a trip on Saturday, April 23, to Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C., for students who wish to help clear debris from the recent tornados in surrounding communities.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Kitchen at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, a project of the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement, needs your help for delivery shifts!

The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Kitchen at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ (CKEU) is accepting donations of brownie mix throughout the month of April.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students in a spring semester computer information systems class are learning more about the Alamance County community as they work together to design websites for local agencies that help the mentally and developmentally disabled.

An organization that helps universities across North Carolina develop an ethos of volunteerism and service among students has awarded Mary Morrison, director of the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, its 2011 Civic Engagement Professional of the Year Award.

Dozens of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students are taking part in Alternative Break service trips this month to destinations across the United States, the Caribbean and in France. The programs were organized by the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement, the Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual Life, and the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.
