The White Coat Ceremony celebrated the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Class of 2021, which has completed its first year of the program and will now transition to clinical studies.

Collaboration between the engineering program and the School of Health Sciences' physical therapy program challenged students and brought out their best in service of the community.

Sharon Dunn, president of the American Physical Therapy Association, urged Elon Doctor of Physical Therapy students to "seize the moment" during the program's 2019 Commencement ceremony.

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Physician Assistant Studies, and ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ engineering students shared research during the first-ever Global Engagement and Research Forum at the Great Hall.

Elon DPT candidates became the first students to sign their names to a book, which signified their commitment to the Physical Therapy Pledge.

Collaboration between Elon’s Engineering Program and the Department of Physical Therapy Education offers students an opportunity to connect engineering design work to the health sector. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ are partnering with people in the community who have mobility limitations and designing products intended to make their daily activities more efficient or achievable.

The annual ceremony pays tribute to members of the Elon community who have proudly served their country.

David Wong, associate professor of educational psychology and educational technology at Michigan State University, served as guest speaker for the second Global Education Symposium.

The forum took place Thursday, Oct. 10, through Saturday, Oct. 12, in Washington, D.C.
