The School of Communications officially opened its new 7,300-square-foot facility on Jan. 3, hosting the pavilion's first classes.

The assistant professor of sport and event management played a prominent role in the November conference, promoting activities and discussions designed to advance the organization’s social justice initiatives.

During the fall semester, students in Associate Professor Lee Bush’s “Strategic Campaigns” course explored how the regional restaurant chain could increase brand engagement with members of Generation Y and Z.

As part of their research study, Frances Ward-Johnson, Alexa Darby and Tammy Cobb found that nearly 90 percent of community organizations considered their respective partnerships with ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ to be worthwhile and meaningful.

Assistant Professor Max Negin served as a video operator during a Dec. 10 Showtime boxing doubleheader, featuring a featherweight championship fight between Jesus Cuellar and Abner Mares.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in Assistant Professor Shaina Dabbs’ “Event Management” class raised more than $2,300 to support the Boys & Girls Club of Alamance County and Excel Christian Academy of Burlington.

Organized by the school’s diversity committee, the end-of-semester unity event brought together students, faculty and staff for an afternoon of fun before finals week begins.

The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ alumnus and acclaimed filmmaker was recognized as part of the grand opening celebration of the school’s new high-definition movie theater in Dwight C. Schar Hall.

The School of Communications’ Imagining the Internet team posted 705 interview video clips featuring international participants at the 11th annual IGF, facilitated by the United Nations.
