The screening of the award-winning documentary will be begin at 8 p.m.
The award-winning documentary “Before the Flood,” hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio, will be screened in Turner Theatre on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m.
The film follows DiCaprio as he travels to five continents and the Arctic speaking to scientists, world leaders, activists and local residents to gain a deeper understanding of climate change and investigate concrete solutions to the most pressing challenge of our time.
The screening came about in response to student interest and is sponsored by ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s School of Communications and the Office of Sustainability. A partnership between the filmmakers and the Association for the Advancement Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), of which Elon is a member, has helped make the screening possible.
All faculty, staff and students have free admission to Turner Theatre with a Phoenix Card, along with family members or a friend.
