An opinion article by Mathew Gendle, assistant professor of psychology, explores the faculty challenge of doing scholarly research while carrying a full ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ load. Gendle argues that ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ may help the scholarly process rather than hinder it.

“By choosing to work at an ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ-centered institution, I havemade a choice regarding the sort of work I wish to primarily engage in,but that decision has had little effect on the amount of time I have todedicate exclusively to my own research.”
