Undergraduate Academics

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ is launching a brand-new Study USA DC summer program called  The program will begin May 2026. These programs include housing, a unique Core Capstone, personal assistance locating and applying to internships, cultural and historical enrichment activities, and networking with alumni and industry professionals!

For over two decades, Elon has partnered with  to offer classes, internships, and housing in D.C. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ can take part in their fall or spring program. All majors are welcome.

Admissions

Serena Crosby-Brown is the admissions counselor for Washington, D.C. She holds information sessions, visits high schools, and attends college fairs. High school students who are interested in learning more about Elon are encouraged to reach out to Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌýattend local events to learn more about the university.

Alumni

°¿³Ü°ùÌýOffice of Alumni Engagement supports an active D.C. regional alumni chapter. Follow the chapter’s Instagram account @elonindc for updates. Join the  group, too. Each fall, the chapter holds a Welcome to the City event for new alumni to the area. All upcoming alumni events can be found on the Elon Alumni Calendar.

If you are a DC-based alumnus in need of career support, Elon has a dedicated career services professional to support you at no cost. Lasse Palomaki supports Elon alumni nation-wide.

Employer and Organizational Partnerships

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ is seeking partnerships with Washington-based companies, non-profits, government agencies, and community organizations to provide impactful internship opportunities for our students during the upcoming summer term. Memberships

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ D.C. belongs to the Washington Programs Consortium (WPC). The Washington Program Consortium provides a forum for practitioners in Washington, D.C. to discuss programming, trends and best practices in experiential education. National ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ team members attend the monthly meeting.

Summer Intern Housing for Non-Study USA DC ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ

If you have secured a summer internship in DC, some local DC universities offer housing for students from other universities. Be sure to look at when each school’s housing starts and ends and when your internship starts and ends to be sure it aligns.
