Informal sessions to support you as you prep posters or write applications for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ research. Stop by anytime to get feedback on your application draft from Dr. Julia Bleakney, Director of The Writing Center, a Writing Center consultant, and/or a peer also working on their application. Possible areas to focus on: getting started, figuring out how to answer one of the prompts, getting feedback on parts of the draft.

Personal Statement Workshop

Jumpstart your graduate school personal statement with this two-part workshop series designed for juniors and seniors beginning the process of applying to graduate school. Through storytelling exercises, peer feedback, and reflection prompts, you’ll craft the first drafts of a personal statement that’s both authentic and compelling.

Co-hosted by Student Professional Development Center and The Writing Center.
