A key component of the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Quality Enhancement Plan (2023-2025) is the Technology Proficiency goal. The goal is focused on supporting Elon’s faculty, staff, and students needs related to file management. This includes, but is not limited to,

  1. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ can create and name storage directories for files.
  2. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ understand the difference between internal/external/cloud storage.
  3. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ understand the file naming extensions and how/when to change them.
  4. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ understand organization of files / file structures and why organization is
    important.

  5. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ can name files and file paths appropriately within their file structures.
  6. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ can analyze common errors/issues that arise in using PC and mobile devices
    and select appropriate solutions or sources of help.
