In this course, students design and execute primary research projects which can include qualitative (interview, focus groups) and quantitative (survey, content analysis) data. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ will collect, analyze, visualize and draw conclusions based on research data. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ will think critically to determine: (a) what questions they need answered to design effective campaigns (data they need); (b) who is in their target audience and where they might access these individuals (data sources); (c) an appropriate research method for their questions and audience (context in which data are produced). ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ will apply findings in making decisions for their strategic campaign planning for the rest of the semester.
