This course is a research-intensive seminar. In this course, students profile a political leader and use the quantitative scores to explain their decision-making and policy choices. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ identify where to collect leaders’ words from government archives or elsewhere (news sources); and clean these for political content only. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ use a specialized software called ProfilerPlus process text and analyze data.
