¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in this course work in small groups to identify an ecological research question, develop hypotheses and predictions, design a simple experiment, collect quantitative data to test their predictions, analyze their data, and then communicate their findings via a formal research presentation and research paper. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ prepare for their project-focused work with hands-on lab activities throughout the semester that introduce the different parts of the research project. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in this course prepare formal, conference style presentations to share their project findings, and they also write journal-style research papers on their projects.
