Advancing Equity Requirement Resources

The Advancing Equity Requirement (AER) courses ask students to reflect on systemic inequity while seeking outcomes that ensure all people can thrive.  The AER provides the opportunity for students to build ethical reasoning and critical thinking skills that are essential for recognizing and addressing various forms of structural inequities throughout the world.

AER Course Enhancement Funding

Limited enhancement funds for approved AER courses are available on a discretionary basis.  To request funding, please complete the .  Please email the Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Core with any questions.

Advising �þ��� About the AER?

AER courses can be designated at the course- or section-level, depending on the specific learning outcomes.  Course sections that are approved as AER can be found via an  Course Catalog search under “Course Type”.
