Betty K. Gerow Scholarship

The Betty K. Gerow Scholarship is awarded to a deserving student majoring in English with demonstrated financial need. Any English major may apply, but priority will be given to applicants with 24 hours completed in English (including ENG 1100), a GPA of at least 3.5, and financial need.

This year the Betty K. Gerow Scholarship will be worth $3600 for use toward Elon tuition or study abroad program fees during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Deadline

Submissions must be received by 2:00pm on Friday, April 24, 2026, to be considered for the 2026-2027 Betty K. Gerow Scholarship.
