The Village Project

A weekly afterschool program from 5 – 7PM at partner Title I ABSS Elementary schools (North Graham, South Graham, BEJ, Sylvan, Eastlawn, Andrews, Haw River, Newlin, Hillcrest, Grove Park) offered at no cost. Specific days vary by location but will fall on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights. Fall Program dates begin the week of September 21st through the week of November 16th. Parent programming is additionally offered throughout the semester.

A free meal courtesy of Elon Dining will be provided at each session.

Additionally, adult education ESL/Spanish language classes are available for parents of our students in collaboration with Alamance Community College and our own small group instruction.

  • Expert tutoring provided by dedicated ABSS teachers and passionate ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students, who work together to support each student’s academic success and growth.
  • Parent programs are provided to support learning at home (study skills, computer literacy, community resource fairs, English classes).
  • Program evaluation from de-identified student assessment data, teacher & parent surveys, parent focus groups.
