The university community shared memories Thursday afternoon of Demitri Allison, a wide receiver on the Elon Phoenix football team, and began the healing process that follows the sudden loss of a loved one.

The Elon community gathered Nov. 9 to celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali in the McBride Gathering Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion.

"To Heal a Broken World," conversations on Jan. 7 & Jan. 14 in the Numen Lumen Pavilion, will engage the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ community in what Judaism, Christianity and Islam have to teach about social justice.

Each Wednesday in Winter Term, we invite members of a faith community to share about what they believe during a community lunch.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ sent 20 delegates to the international interfaith gathering and presented two workshops at the conference.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ's Truitt Center for Religious an Spiritual Life hosted an Oct. 1 celebration of Eid al-Adha, one of the two feast days of the Muslim calendar.

Torres will work closely with campus chaplains and faith leaders to promote dialogue and multifaith harmony.
