From painting hallways to spreading mulch, members of Elon Law’s Class of 2025 assisted local educators in August with preparing schools for the start of the academic year through the annual Elon Law Reaches Out service initiative for incoming students.

Twenty-nine students in the Class of 2024 will participate in upcoming national contests and help coordinate Elon Law's own Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition.

The Hon. Barron Thompson L’09, an Elon Law graduate who presides in North Carolina District Court, delivered a Convocation address to the Class of 2025 in which he reminded students that “we all owe something to those who came before us.”

John Ferebee L’24 prevailed in a competition for summer interns with the Supreme Court of North Carolina and the North Carolina Court of Appeals that featured a real case out of Kentucky involving questions of the Fourth Amendment.
