For the second consecutive year, ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students who took part in the annual springtime ELONTHON dance marathon raised more than $100,000 to benefit young patients and their families with the nonprofit Children’s Miracle Network and Duke Children’s Hospital.

Ward Family Learning in Action Award 2011
The Ward Family Learning in Action Award was established in 2007 through a gift from the Ward family-Dorothy Mears Ward GP’05, ‘08, and ’14, Tom and Beth Ward P’05,‘08, and ‘14 A.T. Ward ’05, Christopher Ward ’08 and Chase Ward ’14.

The following students, faculty and staff were honored on March 31 at the Student Government Association Organizations Awards and Inauguration Ceremony.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Kitchen at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, a community program to serve meals to those in need in Alamance County, opened for the first time on Tuesday when top university leaders prepared lasagna dishes during a special College Coffee in the 1889 Grill Room.

Senior Photo Day is Wednesday, February 9, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., in the Hearth Lounge, Moseley Center. Lifetouch Prestige Portraits will be set up to photograph senior class members. There is no sitting fee and caps and gowns are provided for the picture.

Niki Turley, who has worked with thousands of students as director of Residence Life at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ since 2004, has been appointed assistant dean of students effective this week.
