Twelve scholars from across North America come together for the center’s fourth biennial symposium.

During the Feb. 15 event, members of the Elon community spoke about their different faith traditions and how they live into intersections of faith and justice.

The Workshop on Intercultural Skills Enhancement (WISE) Conference was held on Feb. 3 and 4 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Huber offered a lecture titled "Reading the Bible from the Outside: Introducing Queer Biblical Interpretation" as part of the Carpenter Initiative on Gender, Sexuality, and Justice.

"Textual Intercourse: Present-Day Problems, Rabbinic Sources, and Relational Ethics" will take place on Nov. 3 at 4:30 p.m. in the Isabella Cannon Room at the Center for Performing Arts.

At the recent Forum on Education Abroad conference in Milan, Italy, Elon colleagues presented research on global engagement, mentoring, intercultural learning and inclusive excellence.

Through a two-year fellows program, the five juniors of this interdisciplinary cohort will participate in specialized coursework, faculty-mentored ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ research, campus leadership, and community engagement in multifaith contexts.

Programs in Engineering Design, Food Studies, Islamic Studies, Museum Studies & Public History and Sustainable Enterprises in the Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences welcome students across majors and disciplines.
