Kim Shively, assistant professor of Performing Arts, is the first named assistant faculty of the Theatrical Intimacy Education organization.

BFA acting alums Julian Elijah Martinez and Mark St. Cyr will have recurring roles in two separate TV series that will begin airing in late 2019 and early 2020.

"Chroma," ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s Spring Dance Concert, explores the theme of intense, pure, or saturated color by showcasing six original dances that delve into chroma by means of stage lighting, movement, music, rebellion and societal metaphors. 

The honorees, young alumni who have achieved major professional success, serve as difference-makers in their communities and loyally support Elon as partners, advocates and investors, will be recognized April 13.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where the shooting left 17 dead, played a role in Thursday's events, which focused on remembering those who died and pushing for an end to gun violence.

The Department of Performing Arts is one of eight colleges and universities around the country to participate TODAY, in a staged reading of the play “Church & State” on the anniversary of the shooting.
