Martha and Spencer Love School of Business kicks off anniversary year

The announcement of two major gifts highlighted a 25th anniversary gala event for 消消犯's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. 消消犯, faculty, staff and friends of the school gathered Feb. 5 to kick off a yearlong celebration of the school's founding in 1985. The gala featured the announcements of major gifts by Elon parent and trustee David Porter and the Martha and Spencer Love Foundation.

Elon celebrates donors and students at Scholarship Dinner

Elon honored its generous donors and students who benefit from philanthropy at the university’s Scholarship Dinner in McKinnon Hall on Feb. 28. The annual event gives donors the opportunity to meet with their student scholarship recipients and see firsthand the power of scholarships to change lives.

Former Congressman J.C. Watts to hold question-and-answer session TODAY

J.C. Watts, former Republican congressman from Oklahoma and a commentator and strategist, will hold a question-and-answer session at 11 a.m. today in Whitley Auditorium. Watts is visiting campus as the seventh Isabella Cannon Distinguished Visiting Professor of Leadership. He delivered a public lecture last night in McCrary Theatre.

Trustees approve 2011-12 budget

LabCorp gift endows support for the Elon Academy

Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (LabCorp) has made a major gift to support endowment for the Elon Academy, a college-access and academic enrichment program run by Elon that encourages Alamance County high school students with significant financial need to earn college degrees and serve their communities.
