Bridgette Agbozo ’19 will study this summer at the University of Bristol through the program sponsored by the U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Commission. 

On Wednesday, March 22, the Atlanta Alumni Chapter and Odyssey students came together for a LifELONg Learning event at the Center for Civil & Human Rights.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Alexandra “Allie” Barteldt and junior Benjamin Lutz have each received a Critical Language Scholarship from the federal government to study Hindi in Asia, and Arabic in Africa, respectively.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ from Hillcrest Elementary School in Burlington, North Carolina, toured campus after visting a restored schoolhouse near Rhodes Stadium first used to teach children in the 1800s.

Odyssey Scholar and ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ sophomore Barang Phuk will attend the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in New York City this weekend to advocate for tuition-free schools in her home nation of Cambodia.

Daniel Sheehan, a human service studies and strategic communications double major, begins his career after Elon with a fellowship in New York City that develops "the next generation of aspiring change makers."

Alexandra "Allie" Barteldt will spend the summer in India learning the Hindi language with support from the federal Critical Language Scholarship Program.
