Peter Keaveney, a manager at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, will be talking to students about careers in the banking industry and will discuss his own career path in a presentation on Thursday, November 11, KOBC Room 353 at 4:15 pm.

Elon entrepreneurship students hosted the visit of the founders of Texas Natural Resources, LLC to the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ on October 25.

Earl Honeycutt, professor of Marketing and director of the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center, received the Best Paper of the Year for 2010 from Marketing Education Review for the article "The Three Dichotomies of Marketing." Honeycutt received the award at a luncheon during the Society of Marketing Advances 2010 Conference, held November 3-6 in Atlanta.

Professor John Burbridge delivered a presentation at the Florida State University College of Law on Friday, Oct. 29. The topic was "The Economics of Professional Sports, Collective Bargaining Agreements, and Constraints on Player Pay."

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Charley Costa and junior Stephen Azar won top honors last week in the 2010 Eller Ethics Case Competition, a prestigious national contest hosted by the University of Arizona and featuring many of the top-ranked ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ business schools in North America. It is the second time in as many years that Elon students took first place in the competition.

Love School of Business alumn Hilary Corna '07 will be giving on a presentation titled “How Career Networking Worked For Me” on Tuesday, October 26, 4:15 pm in KOBC Room 353. Her talk is open to ALL LSB students.

In what has become a Homecoming tradition for successful young alumni, graduates of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and the School of Communications shared career tips and life advice Friday in "wisdom sessions" for current students as part of Homecoming 2010. Alumni from the School of Education held a similar program Saturday morning prior to the official start of football festivities around campus.

Gary L. Clinton, former Citigroup Head of Global Relationship Banking in Asia, will give a talk on economic and currency issues associated with China on Monday, October 25, 10:50 am in LaRose Digital Theatre. His talk is open to all LSB students.

Imploring students to follow “their heart’s desire” when deciding how to best advance their communities and country in the years ahead, venture capitalist and former NASA astronaut Dr. Bernard A. Harris Jr. shared stories from his career Wednesday in a ceremony to honor him as the second recipient of the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
