Shao joins Love School of Business as visiting professor of economics

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business welcomes Xuefeng Shao as a visiting professor of economics from Jilin University, Changchun City, China. Shao arrived at 消消犯 on March 1 and will spend the upcoming year conducting economic research and 消消犯 a class during the fall semester.
Mary Gowan to step down as dean of the Love School of Business

Mary Gowan, who has been dean of 消消犯’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business since 2007, will step down as dean at the conclusion of the 2010-11 academic year. She will remain as a faculty member in the Love School of Business, 消消犯 courses as a professor of management.
Steve DeLoach presents new research in Aachen, Germany

Steve DeLoach, a professor of economics, presented results from his newest research project at RWTH Aachen University on May 3, 2011. The paper, "Discouraging Workers: Estimating Impacts of Macroeconomic Shocks on Search Intensity of Unemployed," is co-authored by assistant professor Mark Kurt.
