The Hon. James L. Gale, a retired chief judge of the North Carolina Business Court, received ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law’s 2021-2022 Leadership in the Law Award at a ceremony hosted by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.

Mike Davis saw many ways to help his classmates thrive during their legal studies. His passion for bettering the community earned him ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law’s top student honor at Commencement for embodying the highest levels of selfless leadership and service.

Assistant Professor Tiffany Atkins L’11 received the Outstanding Service Award from the Association of Legal Writing Directors for her work co-chairing the group’s Biennial Leadership Academy Subcommittee.

Julianna Kober’s efforts to help digitize hundreds of pre-Civil War bills of sale of people enslaved in Greensboro, North Carolina, and nearby communities earned her ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law’s top honor for embodying the highest levels of selfless leadership and service.

The Hon. Albert Diaz, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, accepted Elon Law’s 2020 Leadership in the Law Award during a prerecorded segment of an online ceremony hosted by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.
