Emmanuel Agyemang-Dua L’22, Ataesheeana Storr L’21 and Reyona Hammond L’21 were honored in a Black History Month competition that prompted students to reflect on what roles as future lawyers they have in the movement for equality and Black lives.

Assistant Professor Tammi Shimere Etheridge will lead courses in torts, food and drug laws, and health law starting this summer after previously ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and mentoring law students at Howard University and Villanova University.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ President Connie Ledoux Book joined with Margaret Dudley, director of Elon Law’s Emergency Legal Services Program, and Barbara Spencer L’21 on visits to resource centers for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse in Guilford and Alamance counties.

Faculty and community members spoke of the legacy of grief and terror spawned by ongoing racial inequity and violence. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ must address its past and accelerate change for justice and equality, they said.
