Elon Law professor David Levine calls for more transparency among negotiators and lawmakers concerning U.S. reaction to threats of Chinese cyber espionage in a Slate.com article published June 12.

Upon the news of former North Carolina Governor James E. Holshouser’s death, George R. Johnson, Jr., dean and professor of law at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law, reflected on Holshouser’s contributions to Elon.

Andrew Haile, Associate Professor of Law and formerly Jennings Professor and Emerging Scholar, has been appointed Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law by Dean George R. Johnson, Jr.

The Honorable Catherine C. Eagles, United States District Judge for the Middle District of North Carolina, delivered the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law commencement address on May 25 before 123 members of the Class of 2013.

Melodie Menzer is the 2013 recipient of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law’s highest honor for a graduating student, the David Gergen Award for Leadership and Professionalism.

Ian Phillips will serve as Executive Lieutenant Governor and Brian Park will serve as Lieutenant Governor for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) for the Fourth Circuit of the American Bar Association Law Student Division.
