Elon is growing its graduate program opportunities in Alamance County and in Charlotte in response to national trends and demand, including the expansion of its law, physician assistant and business analytics programs and a new degree in clinical mental health counseling.

The newest alumni of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s School of Health Sciences were encouraged to ground their careers in human relationships, compassion and purpose during a Commencement ceremony attended by hundreds of close family and friends.

Lavender Celebration, ¡Celebremos! and Donning of the Kente united 2025 graduates from the School of Law and School of Health Sciences to honor the influence of relationships, culture and authenticity in their academic and professional achievements.

The new program, at Elon’s main campus and Charlotte national campus, will work to prepare competent, compassionate and ethical counselors committed to promoting mental wellness and addressing an urgent need for counselors.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program celebrated its Class of 2026 in a November program that symbolized a transition from classroom learning to a series of clinical rotations over the next year.

The funding for a community-based initiative in the university's Physician Assistant Studies graduate program will expand medically based STEM curriculum for students in the Alamance-Burlington School System and strengthen research mentorship.

The 182 students in ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ School of Law’s largest-ever class represent 31 states, 90 ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ institutions and hold a variety of experiences in the law and service.

The inaugural director of inclusive excellence for graduate and professional education, Laké Laosebikan-Buggs fosters belonging in Elon’s graduate programs. She will be recognized by the Triad Business Journal at a June 12 banquet and featured in a special issue later this month.

Kevin A. Trapani, the retired co-founder, president, and CEO of a North Carolina insurance provider who serves as an executive-in-residence for the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, delivered a Commencement address to ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ master's candidates in the Class of 2025 whom he challenged to "teach character" by embracing habits for life in a chaotic world.

Elon Law students met with judges on the North Carolina Court of Appeals and watched the court in session. The court heard oral arguments in two cases: one involving statutes around claims of professional malpractice, and another involving an injury sustained during a high school lacrosse game.
