A generous scholarship gift from alumna and Univision News Anchor Maity Interiano ’07 will assist students in Elon’s School of Communications. Her gift is part of the Elon LEADS Campaign.

Elon’s commitment to providing premier facilities for physics, engineering and other STEM fields continues to inspire alumnus Furman '56 and Susan Moseley whose latest gift to the Elon LEADS Campaign also provides additional Susan Scholarships in the Odyssey Program.

The Elon community came together and raised over $3.5 million for students on Elon Day 2022.

In her new role, Maity Interiano ’07 will lead the weekend evening edition of the network’s national newscast, “Noticiero Univision.” Interiano serves as one of the alumni co-chairs of the $250 million Elon LEADS Campaign.

Established in 2018 in recognition of Paul Parsons' 17 years of service as founding dean of the School of Communications, the scholarship is awarded to rising seniors with a strong academic record.

The scholarship in memory of Dean Emeritus & Professor of Law George R. Johnson, Jr., will be awarded to students who have a commitment to promoting the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Elon Law and within the legal profession.

To honor their late son Joey, Elon parents Mike and Karen Brocato P’16 have endowed a Teaching Fellows scholarship to support students studying special education. Their gift to the Elon LEADS Campaign will also create a second Teaching Fellows scholarship for students pursuing �þ��� in a STEM field.

The generous estate gift from The Rev. Joyce Myers-Brown ’59 of Atlanta will deepen funding for a scholarship she established in 2011 to increase access to global study. The gift is part of A Will to Lead, a special initiative of the Elon LEADS Campaign to encourage donors to include the university in their estate plans.
