Elon Los Angeles students celebrate Elon Day in LA

�þ�� Los Angeles spring semester students had the opportunity to mix, mingle and connect with Elon Los Angeles-area alumni at the packed Elon Day LA event on March 5, hosted by LA alumni chapter Co-Presidents Cameron Jackson and Taylor Martin.

The gathering, held at The Belmont in West Hollywood, brought together an enthusiastic group of alumni, many of whom had participated in the Elon LA semester experience during their Elon academic journeys.

Current students shared internship and academic class experiences with their new Elon connections. Many took advantage of the opportunity to request meetings later this semester with individual alumni as a part of the Elon Los Angeles “Coffee with an Alumnus” program.

Elon LA spring semester students Kevin Reda and Jackson Bennett connected with Elon alumnus Jordan Roman ’15 (center) at the Elon Day event in Los Angeles.

The immersive Study USA Los Angeles semester and summer experiences offer students opportunities for alumni engagement, community service, unique academic classes with industry professionals, and site-based experiential learning. for Spring 2027 open April 1.

Regional alumni chapters to host Elon Day events across the country, world

Join one of Elon’s regional alumni chapters for their annual Elon Day event on March 1! Elon Day is a day to celebrate our alma mater and to participate in our greatest day of giving each year. All alumni are encouraged to attend their regional chapter’s event and participate in Elon Day by giving back to any campus designation.

This spring, attend your chapter’s event to connect with fellow alumni and for a chance to win special Elon raffle prizes! All are welcome.

Elon Day Extravaganza

Young Commons

The Student Union Board invites students to the Elon Day Extravaganza to celebrate Elon Day on Tuesday, March 2. There will be live music by the band Shiny Penny, food trucks, a photo booth area and lawn games. Be sure to follow for more special announcements about Elon Day.

Friends, Fans and the Whole Elon Community

On Tuesday, March 2, the global Elon community can participate in a daylong celebration by sharing their Elon spirit on social media and making a gift to the area of campus that means the most to them.

As in years past, donors will be able to make gifts toward specific areas of campus that mean the most to them. These areas include student scholarships, affinity networks (Elon Black Alumni Network, Elon Jewish Alumni Network, Elon Latinx/Hispanic Alumni Network and the LGBTQIA Alumni Network), academic schools and departments, and the Phoenix Club (Elon Athletics). For those wanting to make a difference in the Alamance County community, consider making a gift to the Elon Academy, part of the Center for Access and Success. All Elon Day gifts will also count toward the Elon LEADS Campaign.

Charleston Alumni Chapter

Thirty-eight regional alumni chapters held events for Elon Day on March 5 with 790 total attendees. Elon alumni living in regions across the country, and in London, came together to celebrate the university's annual day of giving alongside new and familiar faces.

Charlotte Alumni Chapter

At each event, alumni were encouraged to give throughout the day or at the door in order to have the chance to win a special Elon backpack. The night was full of reminiscence, laughs and entertainment with food provided and plenty of photos taken to remember the evening.

Seattle Alumni Chapter

Thank you to all the alumni, families, and friends who came out and contributed to making Elon Day 2019 a record-breaking success.
