Ryan Kupperman ’25, Erin Martin ’25 and Abby Gravely ’27 – all three members of Elon News Network – headed to Chicago this week to chronicle the events leading up to Vice President Kamala Harris formally accepting the Democratic presidential nomination.

The five annual awards acknowledge excellence in ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, mentoring, scholarship and service-leadership among faculty and staff in Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

The article shares an open access research tool for studying animal communication that was developed as part of Evora’s Elon Lumen project. The work was done by Evora, collaborators from the University of Missouri and Curtin University and Hamel. The article appears in a special issue of the journal Entomologia Experimentalis et Applicata.

Nearly 50 students participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience, a unique opportunity where the topics are diverse, along with the personal stories behind them.

The competitive award will allow Levanti to continue her research on black holes in dwarf galaxies, which could have implications for NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope.

Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy program was represented strongly at the Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine in ​Boston, MA. ​Josie Freeman and Ginny Shafer, second-year DPT students, also won awards at the conference.

Members of the student-run news organization helped the Jack & Jill students produce their own broadcast pieces highlighting prominent Black journalists.

Through a two-year fellows program, the five students in this multidisciplinary cohort will undertake mentored ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ research projects, enroll in specialized coursework, and engage in community-based learning with diverse religious communities.

The university's top ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ research award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achievements.

Dahdal is one of 438 students across the nation awarded the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship and one of the few to receive the honor as a sophomore.
