A week after a Missouri grand jury chose not to indict a white police officer in the August shooting death of an unarmed black teenager, ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students, staff and faculty shared their reactions to the national story and offered insights on ways for the nation to move forward in a positive direction.

Join members of the Center for Race, Ethnicity & Diversity Education and the Council on Civic Engagement in the Lakeside Meeting Rooms at 5 p.m. Monday for a discussion of recent events in Ferguson, Missouri.

Join us Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 5:30 p.m. in the Numen Lumen Pavilion as students from diverse Christian groups on campus lead prayer and worship for healing and reconciliation in response to recent unrest in Ferguson and across the nation.

The assistant professor of education at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ took part in three presentations along with colleagues from Winston-Salem State University and from an elementary school in Burlington, N.C.
