Though driven apart by the global COVID-19 pandemic, members of the Class of 2020 came together online on Friday, May 22, with their friends, families and Elon faculty and staff to celebrate all they have accomplished during the past four years and receive their degrees.

Three Air Force cadets and three Army cadets completed Elon’s ROTC program and will enter military service.

During the virtual ceremony, members of the graduating class will be officially awarded their degrees, with an in-person celebration of the class to be held on campus later this year.

These 14 students on Wednesday became the two-year program’s first alumni, and leave Elon prepared to pursue careers in a wide range of higher education environments.
