More than 1,500 were invited to participate in Elon's 132nd Undergraduate Commencement on Friday, May 20, in the Schar Center.

Candidates from graduate-level programs in the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education, Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and School of Communications received their diplomas in a joint ceremony May 18 in Alumni Gym.

The prolific Washington, D.C.-based photographer – and Durham native – will host his first public art installation, “The Last Dance,” on Saturday, May 28, at the Durham Athletic Park. The free event, which will be held on the field, runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On May 17, the evening before their Commencement ceremony, 14 graduate students in �þ���'s Interactive Media master's program shared their thesis projects with professionals, faculty and staff, family and friends.

Watkins was acknowledged by She Plays Games for her success in the video games industry.

These four awards recognize members of the Elon community for excellence in �þ���, scholarship, civic engagement and mentoring.

At the annual Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on May 11, the Elon community honored faculty and staff members who are retiring this year.

The communication design major received an honorable mention in the Graphis New Talent Annual, which celebrates the top creative work from students across the globe.

During its annual awards ceremony, hosted May 5 in Turner Theatre, the school acknowledged high achievement from students, faculty and staff, hosted the first induction of its Kappa Tau Alpha honors society, and bid farewell to retiring Associate Professor Michael Skube.

Doo Lee G’22, Alyssa Sandy G’22 and Sophia Theriault ’20, G’22 traveled to Las Vegas to share their ongoing research that delves into DEI education, minority women's mortality rates in the United States, and body inclusivity.
