Nearly 1,700 new students including the Class of 2028 and transfer students, gathered Under the Oaks on Aug. 24 for New Student Convocation – the beginning of their Elon journey.

More than 1,600 first year students and over 70 transfer students arrived to ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ on Aug. 23 excited for new experiences in their new home.

Seven ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ faculty members were honored with endowed professorships during the Opening Day ceremony on Monday, Aug. 19. Each faculty member was recognized for their passion in their field, commitment to students and service to the university.

This year’s annual conference was held in Philadelphia and provided Elon faculty with an opportunity to showcase their areas of research, interest and expertise.

From Elon to Sesame Street Workshop, Cee has pursued a career of purpose and passion.

While participating in the Lithuanian International Student Services program, the journalism and public health studies double major completed a five-week internship with the longest-running broadcast network in the European country.

Eight students were awarded funds for the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Queen City Internship Grant.
