Jessica Gisclair, associate professor and department chair in the School of Communications, has been elected to serve as president-elect for the Executive Board of the Greensboro, N.C., Tar Heel Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

As ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students, Ashly Rehak and David Denison never imagined that one day their alma mater was going to bring them together for life.

Jessica Gisclair, department chair in the School of Communications, presented, "How to Find a Work/Life Balance" at the Twenty-Ninth Annual Academic Chairpersons Conference, Orlando, Fla., Feb. 9-10.

A current student and young alumna will be inducted at a Feb. 18 ceremony celebrating the rich history of Elon’s black students, faculty and staff.

The semester before graduation is usually an anxious time for seniors, particularly those who are still hunting for a job in earnest. On Feb. 13, a panel of School of Communications alumni implored soon-to-be alumni and ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs to use informational interviews, specifically, to make professional connections and improve their job search success.

The School of Communications has selected Jo Craven McGinty, projects editor at The New York Times, and Doug Finberg, executive vice president of marketing for MGM Studios in Los Angeles, as the inaugural recipients of the school’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
