Jeffrey C. Pugh, Maude Sharpe Powell Professor of Religious Studies, and David A. Copeland, A.J. Fletcher Professor and professor of communications, were formally awarded the Distinguished University Professorship at a special investiture ceremony on Nov. 13.

The New York City-based documentary editor was recognized prior to a Nov. 9 screening of “Food Chains,” a 2014 film she edited that highlights agricultural labor in the United States.

The Greensboro native and national news correspondent made stops in five classes on Nov. 8 and participated in an hour-long chat with members of Elon News Network.
