A pilot project led by faculty members Martin Kamela and Dave Gammon brought Alamance County elementary and middle school students to campus for four days of science and math activities while ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students traveled away for spring break.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Taylor Davis traveled to Boston in March 2015 to present her research at a national biochemistry conference. The Honors Fellow received a student travel award and was recognized in the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ poster competition.

Astrophysicist and author Neil deGrasse Tyson headlined Spring Convocation on April 2, 2015, with a passionate defense of science, an analysis of what drives people to accomplish great feats, and advice to students for being lifelong learners.
