With support from a $8,500 scholarship, the cinema and television arts BFA major will continue their academic pursuits at one of the world’s top film schools.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ enrolled in Professor Julie Lellis’ Senior Seminar in Health Communications spent the spring semester developing campaign ideas to support the healthcare system’s initiatives in health equity and employee wellness.

The Elon student, originally from North Eastham, Massachusetts, died in April 2023 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in what police investigated as a fatal hit-and-run incident.

The newspaper of Elon News Network was recognized as part of the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence contest.

The cinema and television arts major recently won a film contest celebrating the stories of African Americans and the positive impact they have made in Guilford County communities.
