The third annual #ElonDay celebration raised $955,099 from 3,749 gifts, making it the single greatest day of giving in Elon’s history.

Members of the worldwide Elon community can participate by making a gift to the university and sharing their Elon pride on social media.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, faculty and staff celebrated ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ on March 8, 2016, in a special gathering around Fonville Fountain where revelers heard from two young alumni about the value and power of giving back to their alma mater.

A special Feb. 27 dinner offered ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students, alumni and staff members an opportunity to share stories from a residential living-learning community that introduces freshmen to campus and regional service opportunities.

Katie Zach ’04 and Leanne High ’07 visited campus to talk about their past experiences and current roles working in the public relations field, giving students insight into the professional world. 

For the second consecutive year, students studying in the Elon in LA program got an inside look at the festivities leading up to the Academy Awards, the film industry’s biggest night of the year.

The Pendulum, Phi Psi Cli and Colonnades won a total of 22 awards from the North Carolina College Media Association.

A campus Gathering of Friends to mourn the loss of a beloved Elon scholar and mentor takes place Monday, Feb. 29, at 4 p.m. in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion.

The N.C. Press Association honored Thompson, a rape survivor and an advocate for reform in the use of eyewitness identification, during a Feb. 25 awards ceremony.

Greg Mader '11, a doctoral student in Biomathematics at N.C. State University, spoke Feb. 24 to a crowd of 32 students and faculty about his life as a graduate student.
