Elon Trustee Jay Hendrickson ’71 and his wife, Amy Hendrickson ’69, support A Will to Lead, a special initiative of the Elon LEADS Campaign to inspire donors to establish a lasting legacy by placing the university in their estate plans.

Ava Rosen ’23 reshaped her future thanks to the Inman Family Odyssey Scholarship, which led her to Elon. Creating new scholarships to produce Graduates the World Needs is the top priority of the $250 million Elon LEADS campaign.

In the midst of the holiday season, the Elon New York City Alumni Chapter searched to find how we could make an impact in our own community in a robust way leaving behind an even larger impact than expected.

Elon LEADS Campaign chair Chris Martin ’78 P’13 announced a special campaign initiative to allow alumni, parents and friends to establish a lasting legacy at Elon by placing the university in their estate plans to fund scholarships and other key institutional priorities.

The recent graduate worked through COVID-19 and the Texas winter storm to generate funds for Austin Pets Alive!, a no-kill animal shelter in Austin.

Together, the Elon community raised over $3.4 million from 5,609 gifts and unlocked numerous opportunities for Elon students and the community.

The on-campus events offered an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to safely gather to celebrate the university and support Elon Day.

Join us today to celebrate Elon Day, the university’s annual day of giving. Make a gift, attend virtual and on-campus events, and show your Elon spirit on social media as we grow opportunities for students.

The university’s communications efforts in 2020 were recognized for excellence by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
