Research by ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Kate Smith-Lin finds that citizens of Indonesia don’t necessarily save more money after a bank opens in rural areas, but they do change the way they save, making it easier to protect their families in times of crisis.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students and alumni came together to create a minute-long commercial for the American sporting goods brand, which the company promoted and praised on its Facebook page on March 16.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in the spring semester course "Disarming Injustice: Nonviolence and the Civil Rights Movement" traveled with their professor to Alabama as they remembered a violent episode in American history.

Seventy-four high school seniors interested in studying communications visited ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ during Fellows Weekend from March 6-7, 2015. Following a competitive selection progress, 25 students will be named 2015 Communications Fellows. 

Assistant Professor Amy L. Allocco, the university's distinguished emerging scholar in religious studies, will conduct ethnographic fieldwork to achieve a better understanding of Hindu practices in modern day India.

School of Communications seniors Marisa Moody and Erin Turner traveled to the Big Apple in February to participate in the American Advertising Federation’s Most Promising Multicultural ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Program, the advertising industry’s premier multicultural recruiting initiative.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students and faculty raised money this year to purchase a desktop system to help an African family adjust to life in the United States.

Leaders of a student organization that fights hunger in Alamance County invited Elon President Leo M. Lambert and his wife, Laurie, to prepare meals with them this month as they celebrated a $5,000 grant to expand their impact across the region.

The student media organizations were both recognized as NCCMA Best of Show winners.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s top prize for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ research and creative achievement assisted senior Omolayo Ojo in her efforts to share why people from Senegal move to the United States, and what effect those moves have on families left behind.
