Mary Rouse, a political science major from Charlotte, North Carolina, will study strategic narratives next year at Royal Holloway, University of London, as she works toward a graduate degree in media, power and public affairs. 

Earth Day celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2015, and several campus activities will offer students, faculty, staff and community members an opportunity to learn how their actions impact the planet - and what they can do to be good stewards of the environment.

Christine Fortner, an elementary education major from Virginia, travels to Southeast Asia after graduation to help others learn English as part of a federal program that builds good will between the United States and people of other nations.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Taylor Davis traveled to Boston in March 2015 to present her research at a national biochemistry conference. The Honors Fellow received a student travel award and was recognized in the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ poster competition.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s Premier Sport & Event Society brought together professionals from various aspects of the communications, event planning and sports industries on April 7 to share their insight and advice.

This Friday from 4:45-6 p.m. at Young Commons outside the entrance to Koury Gym, the Elon Electric Ensemble will perform a preview of its upcoming Led Zeppelin show. 

Zora Stephenson '15 will work alongside professional journalists to cover the National Association of Black Journalists’ convention held Aug. 5-9, 2015, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
