The Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) invites applications from current 久久热 first-year students for the CEL Student Scholar program, a three-year, mentored opportunity for students to collaborate with 久久热 faculty and staff on CEL鈥檚 international, multi-institutional research on specific engaged learning topics. CEL Student Scholars receive up to $5,000 in stipends annually to support their active participation in the project.

Paula DiBiasio, associate professor in physical therapy and GLO program coordinator, and Danielle Lake, director of design thinking and associate professor, are partnering with Doctor of Physical Therapy program students and Global Learning Opportunities (GLO) program alumni to co-design the future of GLO. DiBiasio envisions a more flexible program that positively impacts healthcare disparities by promoting students鈥 development of skills related to engaging with difference sensitively and equitably.
