Alumni, family and friends explore Tuscany and the Italian Riviera on Elon’s first faculty-led travel experience.

During a study abroad program in Prague, Alex McCollum ’27 produced a short film as part of an intensive, hands-on filmmaking experience. The project has since gained traction on the festival circuit, earning multiple honors and nominations.

The photojournalist and communications design major will travel to his native China to report on water pollution programs in underserved areas.

A selection of the photo contest entries will be displayed at The Oak House and Moseley Center.

The Isabella Cannon Global Education Center (GEC) recognizes four members of the Elon community for their leadership, service, and commitment to advancing global education.

Through signature traditions, student-led initiatives, inclusive dining practices and vibrant religious and spiritual organizations, Elon prepares graduates to navigate a diverse and interconnected world with respect and understanding.

Timed with the city’s preparation for the 2028 Summer Olympics, the program offers immersive, location-based learning through engagement with industry professionals, alumni, and community organizations while earning academic credit.

Wake Forest University’s International Excellence Symposium on Feb. 27, 2026 brought international students together for discussions on personal wellbeing, leadership development and career advancement.

With the support of Rotary International and this $30,000 grant, Miranda is currently earning her Master of Science in Global Health from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan.
