¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ

There was plenty of whipped cream smeared into the faces of Elon Law faculty and staff in a May 31 fundraiser hosted by a student group that coordinates outreach efforts to assist local nonprofits and advocacy groups.

The distinguished ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ faculty member with scholarly interests in diversity and representation in American media will lead efforts to further promote a welcoming environment for learning and ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ across campus.

Ringelberg will participate in the residential fellowship at the Clark Art Institute in Williamston, Massachusetts, beginning in January 2024, completing a manuscript about art genres and genders focused on 19th and 20th century France.

Environmental Studies students partner with local small business, Kindred Seedlings Farm, in a community-engaged course this spring to help break ground on a new agricultural endeavor.

The staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 26 awards program during the annual staff day celebration.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ recognizes the 19 staff members who are retiring after years of dedicated service to the campus community.

Gaither, an accomplished teacher and scholar, has been a member of the school’s faculty for nearly two decades and has served as interim dean since 2022.

The associate professor of classical languages was selected as the first faculty member to be honored by the endowed professorship that was created by the university’s board of trustees in spring 2022.  

World Languages and Cultures faculty interacted with the local community offering an evening of cultural engagement at Marvin B. Smith Elementary School.
