Wertz, a career and technical education teacher at Southern Guilford High School and a firefighter at the the Elon Fire Department, said her time in the Elon community is the reason for a lot of her success in life.

Over 200 ABSS students spent two weeks on Elon's campus for the Summer in the Village program to sharpening their math skills through various music concepts and study the various functions of the heart.

Twenty incoming first-year Elon students spent a week with on-campus organizations and community partners to get first-hand experience of service opportunities Elon provides.
