The long-time Merck & Co. executive and New York University professor will help facilitate the corporate communications emphasis of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s new M.S. in Management, which begins in fall 2015.

While attending the four-day Durham festival, students in ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s documentary production program screened films from around the world, attended filmmaker events and panels, and met award-winning documentarians.

Fifteen board members and guests, including chair Michael Radutzky of “60 Minutes,” were in attendance April 10 to hear about the future of the School of Communications and to share their professional insight with students and faculty.

Christian Binder ’13, Mariah Czap ’13 and Al Drago ’15 discussed their careers working as freelancers and how they established themselves in the communications field.

Brad Hinkle ’15, Sergio Ingato ’15 and Jacky Shacknow ’16 co-produced the documentary “North Street,” which will be shown twice this month during the 2015 RiverRun International Film Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The student-run communications agency is looking for qualified students with business, marketing, web development, art, design or video backgrounds.

An ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ assistant professor, and a junior sport and event management major, will have prominent roles in the collegiate recreational sports organization, particularly with issues relating to its April 2016 conference held in Kissimmee, Florida.

The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ graduate was selected as the winner of the Lexus Vine Challenge, presented by the Jimmy Fallon-hosted program. Her Vine video was recognized during the late-night show’s April 10 telecast.

Six ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students participated in the March conference’s student competition, analyzing and presenting a real baseball operations decision: trading a certain Philadelphia Phillies left-hander for maximum return. The students will discuss their Arizona presentation on Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Koury Business Center, room 208.
