During the fall 2015 semester, School of Communications students developed multi-platform strategies and tactics for the world’s largest medical academic research organization.

The assistant professor of communications examines socio-technical initiatives designed to promote citizen participation and collaborative problem solving in city governance.

The assistant professor of communications discussed the use and measurement of light in a short video titled “Elon Holidays 101: It's all about the light.”

Written and directed by ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Mia Watkins, the short film, influenced by the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, tells the story of an African-American woman attempting to find her voice in today’s society. 

The School of Communications professor analyzed the factors that are helping or hindering the voting intention and behavior of Costa Ricans who live abroad in the newly granted external voting process.

The team of Mike Garland ’15 G’16 and Tyler Parrott ’15 G’16 prevailed against student groups from more than 20 universities. 

Ciara' Dixon ’16 and Simone Jackson ’16 have been named to the AAF's Most Promising Multicultural ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ program, a highly selective annual award for college students with exceptional academic and professional achievements.

During ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s Thanksgiving break, members of the baseball team traveled to the Dominican Republic to study the Caribbean nation’s culture, economy and affinity for baseball as part of the “Globalization in Contemporary Sport” class.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ staff member Ryan Witt and senior Brian Szymanski partnered to produce an entry for the fan-made commercial contest and their submission was named a semifinalist for the competition’s $1 million grand prize.

The sport and event management class hosted a fundraising event benefiting Helping Other People Eat – or H.O.P.E. – a nonprofit organization fighting hunger in Alamance County.
